We had a blast practicing our henna skills on home made sugar skulls.
Dia de los Muertos is a big day around here where you leave offerings for dead relatives.
so take a look at our fun and fanciflu skulls

Re: skills on skulls!!
Sat, October 21, 2006 - 1:49 PMVery nice! Fun, pretty, and creepy all at once :)
What do you do with them once they're decorated? For display, or? -

Re: skills on skulls!!
Sun, October 22, 2006 - 6:56 AMWE are just enjoying them for now.
You traditionally use them as part of the offerings to your dead family on NOv 1 and 2.
Along with food and flowers.
We enjoyed the decoration process and don't have a local cemetary to go to with family buried there so we'll just throw them away eventually.
Or maybe try to save them for next year.
